Gathering Tonight
Blogger is being stubborn for me. I got a new computer, and I can't comment on blogs or edit my own posts for some reason... Thus, I once again haven't been able to update. :( Please post here for the Gathering, as usual. Clans who asked to join are invited to attend weather they are on the list or not. Thanks for your patience.

Moonstar padded into the clearing with HawkClan, the cats of VolcanoClan just behind her. "HawkClan has arrived!" she announced, Magmastar striding up and announcing, "VolcanoClan has as well."
(Though not on the sidebar, I asked to join.)
Applestar breathed in the sweet smell of roses and night time. The silver light cast a dappled shadow on her pelt. Leaping onto the Great Stone, the RippleClan leader smiled before calling out to the other clans. "RippleClan is here!"
Moonstar dipped her head towards the RippleClan leader. "Greetings," she said with a warm voice.
(Same with VolcanoClan)
Darkstar led his Clan through the forest quickly and then raced into the clearing. A few apprentices behind him stumbled and they lowered their ears in embarrassment. Darkstar chuckled and purred and meowed loudly, "LostClan has arrived."
He leaped onto the Great Stone and dipped his head in respect towards the other leaders.
[ Haha! I'm actually on time for a Gathering:3 ]
Applestar smiled, dipping her head in respect. "Is all well in HawkClan?" she asked, trying to not sound intruding.
Featherstar pushed her head through the dark green leaves and peeked into the Gathering clearing. Several cats already stood proudly on the Great Stone, their chests puffed out and tails outstretched to keep balance. She flicked her tail for the rest of her Clan to follow and she darted through the warm air and onto the Great Stone.
"SleetClan has arrived!" She purred loudly, her eyes bright like the moon in the distance. "I am the new leader, as our old leader was killed in battle." She lowered her head in respect and watched as the other Clan cats did the same. After a moment of silence, she raised her head and gapped her mouth to continue. "We recently fought off a fox from our territory that threatened three kits, though no cats were seriously injured. Prey is thriving and the weather is cool." She dipped her head slightly and stepped back for the other leaders to speak.
Dawnstar led RoseClan forward, her sleek pelt gleaming as she gracefully strode into the clearing and up beside the other Leaders. "RoseClan has arrived!" she yowled, smiling. She dipped her head in greeting to the other Leaders. "There hasn't been much change in RoseClan lately, besides better prey and our new member Foxpaw! Welcome him, although he wasn't feeling well and could not attend tonight" she mewed.
"Foxpaw! Foxpaw! Foxpaw!" The SleetClan cats cheered, sending a wave of relief over Featherstar. She was happy to hear good news instead of yowls and screams. For once in a long time, they could simply breathe.
"Wish him well from SleetClan." Mewed Featherstar, her ears angling towards the cheering RoseClan cats. Even in the light of the moon it seemed only few cats could be fully seen. The rest were bright eyes poking through the midst of the night. As she stared into the distance and noticed empty gaps throughout the clearing, she remembered that there were more cats to come.
What would they say if they knew this was only my second Gathering, ever? She wondered mildly.
Starshine looked at all the clan cats there were so many!
Moonstar shrugged. "Nothing major," she said. "A few new apprentices, that's all."
SleetClan-Featherstar gave a slight nod to Moonstar. "We've had many joiners and ceremonies since last moon," She purred. "Including several kits."
RoseClan-Mistflower watched the other Clan leaders with interest. Where are all of the cats? She thought, her pelt bristling. Last moon there were so many. As she pondered this, she gazed up into Silverpelt, then over to the moon. Both shown brightly in the sky.
StarClan was still okay with everything. Then maybe I should be, too.
RippleClan-Embersky blinked into the stars, her pelt relaxing as she saw all of StarClan staring down at her. She had heard cats muttering about more Clans once coming, but she couldn't imagine it. The clearing was already packed, though gaps stood lonely through some Clans.
Where are all of the other Clans? She wondered. She was about to ask this, but caution kept her mouth closed.
{and sadly, most of what I've written has been going through people's heads}

I would like to inform you that I've been going from Clan to Clan on the 'Clan List' to announce the Warrior Gathering, and many were removed or very rarely posted on. You may want to take care of this eventually, once your computer stops acting like a freak {evil computer!}.

Froststar and her clanmates arrived at the gathering.
Froststar leaped up onto the Great Stone. She mewed her greetings to the other leaders. "Hello." She dipped her head respectfully.
The WoodClan cats took a seat beneath the Great Stone.

"Hello, Froststar." Greeted Feathernose. Her whiskers touched the ground as she dipped her head in respect. "How is WoodClan?"
{it's okay; the Gathering usually lasts a couple/few days anywho}
(Sorry, SlateClan is in a fight at the moment. Cannot attend!

Cavernstar arrived at the gathering place, with BrambleClan right behind him. "Hello," he meowed lightly, and jumped up onto the Great Stone.
(Oh, and in reply to Brooke's comment about the inactive and active clans-- on the Community Chat Page, I posted a list of the clans that have recently been posted on. The list hasn't been updated since April 29th, though, so please tell me if I made any errors. Also, my list includes the clans that have been posted on in a month or less in the active column, and the others would be considered inactive. With that said, I understand some may be undergoing some maintenance. Thanks!)
Brookpaw waited patiently as the leaders spoke.

[I agree with Brooke too. It almost breaks my heart. I understand maintenance, but slowly we've been getting less and less commenting. Ex. Dec 30th 2009: 382 comments]
Bluepaw of HawkClan arrived with her clanmates. Her eyes sparkled as she glanced around at all the cats surrounding her.
Scarlet-I saw that almost as soon as I published my comment. Very helpful, and I don't think it needs to be updated. Thank you!
Dawnstar-It breaks my heart, too. And it wasn't just one or two people commenting multiple times. This isn't just some made up prophecy; the fall of the Clans is real, and anyone with eyes can see it. Great StarClan, it's terrible!
