"I see we are the only ones here.." Shadowstar mewed to her Clanmates.
"Not for long, here comes WhisperClan!" Poppyheart mewed in return as WhisperClan strode proudly into the clearing. The two Clans greeted each other and sat down; Leaders, Deputies and Medicine Cats near to the Rock, and others mingling with aquaintances.
"SLATECLAN IS HERE!" Slatestar yowled and he arrived. His clanmates were behind him. He glanced at IslandClan and WhisperClan, where their leaders were on the Great Stone, and the warriors and apprentices were below. Slatestar bounded off to the Great Stone, and hauled himself up. He smiled a bit to Shadowstar.

Rustclaw sat down beside his clanmates, and glanced at Slatestar. He smiled a bit.

(BrambleClan is in a battle right now, by the way. :D)
A BrambleClan cat ran to the gathering. "I'm a messenger for BrambleClan tonight! My clan is occupied with a battle and so can't make it to the gathering tonight!"

Froststar led WoodClan through the forest and into the moonlit clearing where the gathering was held. Froststar nodded to her clan, signaling them to take a seat.
Froststar dipped her muzzle to the other leaders who had already arrived. "Greetings." Her green eyes speculated the three coldly.
The ivory leader sat between Shadowstar and Slatestar, giving them both a curt nod.
WoodClan acquainted themselves with IslandClan, WhisperClan, and SlateClan cats.
(Ah, I changed my screen name from ◇Scarletfur-of-BrambleClan◆ to ◇Scarlet◆!)
(Just thought I'd mention, as one of the new contests, I'll be drawing a random number - say, 50 - and the poster of the 50th comment on the Gathering night will win a special prize!)

(I have to go now, sadly. Sorry if this turns out to be a somewhat failing Gathering again, but so many people have left the community it's just not the same. I'll finish up with the contests tomorrow. Enjoy!)

Speedstar purred as she leaped gracefully onto the Great Stone. "SpeedClan is here." she meowed to the cats already at the gathering, and went to sit beside Shadowstar. "Greetings, Shadowstar! I haven't seen you for ages!" Speedstar greeted the black and white she-cat. "How are you?"

(Bye, Sylvine! I hope this gathering is better than the last, though! :D)
(Goodbye Sylvine! Yes, the community has drastically changed since '09, and many have left us, but I'm still hopeful. Perhaps someday the clans can be restored!)
"Hello Froststar." Speedstar meowed, trying to be kind to everyone. "The moon looks beautiful tonight, doesn't it?" she meowed to the few leaders sitting around her.
Froststar dipped her head to Speedstar solemnly. "Greetings."
The BrambleClan messenger cat darted out from the gathering clearing and back to BrambleClan camp to battle.
Speedstar smiled at Froststar and turned to see her Clan bunched up together. "Excuse me for a moment." Speedstar sighed, and darted over to her Clan. "Go on, talk to other Clan cats! That's the whole point of a Gathering, isn't it?" she meowed, annoyed but humoured. She leaped back up onto the Great Stone. "Sorry about that."
"That's okay." Froststar nodded curtly to Speedstar and signaled for her cats to do the same; get acquainted with some of the cats.
Shadowstar warmly greeted Speedstar. 'Hello! I am very well actually, prey is running very well in our Clan.' She purred.
Brookstar lead her growing clan into the clearing. "Falconclan is here!" She yowled, and leapt onto the Great Stone. "We are doing well, and were well fed throughout the leaf-fall. Now that prey is beginning to run once more we will not have to resort to our leaf-fall hunting techniques." The leader did not say what techniques they were or what they hunted in their great mountains, but her clan now knew they did not need to do as much hawk, eagle, kite, and falcon hunting anymore. She nodded to her allied leaders, Jadestar and Moonstar.
'IslandClan is thriving, though we are still recieving threats from our rival; TangleClan. We hae welcomed many new Warrios into our Clan since the past Gathering; Flowerbrook, Morningstorm, Eaglefire, Hawkheart, and Shorepaw. As usual, {aside from occasional threats from TangleClan,} prey is running well on IslandClan's territories.' Shadowstar concluded and then stepped confidently down and dipped her head to Aspenstar, who took her place at the head of the Rock.

'WhisperClan had been going through some hardships; Our Deputy has been missing for a moon now (we suspect TangleClan for this),' Aspenstar spat out the evil Clans' name. 'And we choosing a new Deputy carefully. We are still thriving and we are ready for any rivalries that may come our way.' Aspenstar mewed gingerly, eyeing the Clans. She then stepped down off the Rock.
(WhisperClan is more suspicious and usually don't trust other Clans very much, they are very much like ShadowClan.)

Just then, Moonstar padded into the gathering with HawkClan. She looked at all of the other warriors and dipped her head in respect.
Sorry I missed the Gathering! Especially since it's my first time as an author. There was a girl scout sleepover though.
