Sadly, no more initiative has been put in to setting a date for the upcoming contest, as I haven't contacted Brooke since she took a short break from Blogger (though I believe she will be returning soon).
Like myself, I know that everyone must be extremely busy now that our lovely carefree summer days are gone for another year. For those of you who see this, enjoy commenting this month!

Moonstar padded into the gathering place with HawkClan. Looking around, she realized that none of the other clans have arrived yet. "We have to wait for the other clans," she called back to her own. "It seems like we are the first ones to arrive."
Echostar padded in more slowly with her warriors, their shadows flickering across the forest floor. She waved her tail, and her clan dispersed and went to share tongues and gossip with the other clans. She clawed her way up the Great Oak, and set her place on one of the branches in the middle. She dipped her head. "Greetings, Moonstar."
The leader of HawkClan nodded politely at the other clan leader. "Hello, Echostar," she said. "How has OakClan been?" Moonstar swiftly climbed up the Great Oak to join the other leader.
(EmberClan can't make it, they're still recovering from the rouges/flood and the loss of their medicine cat)

Echostar twitched the tip of her tail. "Nothing unusual, if that's what you are asking." She said in a curt meow, seeing Moonstars question as a weakness. Does she know about the badgers?
Moonstar nodded. "I see," she said. "HawkClan is doing well, too." The leader's slightly strained voiced betrayed her words a little, but her eyes tried not to show it.
Dawnstar, I want to give my sincere apology. I'll be coming back soon-I promise, but for now my family's going through quite a bit and there's a lot going on.
I promise I'll be back and blogging by at most Fall.
