"I'm glad the plants are soming back" Briarberry meowed warmly to Petalstar, then smearing blood again on her wown face.
"Whoops... " she said aloud.

Petalstar's jaw dropped. Dreamstar was about to be fresh-kill. She had to hold back.

"So much drama for such a group..." Briarberry said, observing.
There was nothing like that in MY clan, she thought.

When Petalstar's jaw dropped, Wildstar knew something wasn't right. The way Petalstar looked at Dreamstar is if she was some kind of mouse. . .Wildstar got into a crouched position. . .

Briarberry noticed Wildstar crouch, and just smiled back at her, then Smiled at Petalstar.

Wildstar shot a glance over at Briarberry who was smiling at her. She felt a little unsure about this cat also. . .

Petalstar relaxed, pretending Dreamstar DIDN'T just tell Ripplestar the biggest secret of her life.

Dawnstar sighed. She ran into the clearing, and jumped up onto the rock next to Wildstar of BreezeClan. "Hello." Dawnstar meowed.
Briarberry smiled at Dawnstar, calmly.
"Hello?" she meowed to Dawnstar, noticing her slimbing onto the rock.

"Hello. Where is Swiftstar?" Dawnstar asked.

Wildstar greeted Dawnstar. She touched her tail to Dawnstar's shoulder.
"I am a little wary of Petalstar. She says she got rabies, and has the urge to kill."

"S-she couldn't make it." Briarberry stammered, and then relaxed again.
-Briarberry
"I heard a rumor she had rabies...." Dawnstar murmured, slowly moving away from Petalstar.
"Yeah, It's nothing" Briarberry said.

Petalstar knew the other leaders were talking about her. Her eyes grew wide. Did they find out? She glanced at Ripplestar. "So..." She didn't want to ask them if they knew, but she didn't know how to put it.
[Petalstar]
Briarberry turned back to Petalstar and Dreamstar, tipping her head in confusion innocently.
-Briarberry
"So. . .what?" Wildstar questioned the Pineclan leader. She still sat a little ways away from her with Dawnstar by her side.
-Wildstar
"Have you heard anything...interesting...about anyone breaking the warrior code recently?" She asked casually, avoiding glaring at Ripplestar and Dreamstar. Darkshadow smiled.
[Petalstar/Darkshadow]
Wildstar glanced at her, and then glanced around her at the crowd of cats.
"Yeah, I heard." she meowed.
-Wildstar
"Uhhhh No!" Briarberry siad a little too quickly, thinking Petalstar was talking about Swiftstar.
-Briarberry
Dawnstar gulped, trying to change the subject. "My kits became apprentices! A Clan called NigthClan attacked, and took one of them hostage, but we got her back. And the best miracle happened yesterday! My lost sister found the Clan again with her two kits, and my Clan is still deciding if they want her two stay." Dawnstar meowed to Wildstar. She eyed Petalstar, making sure she wouldn't attack.
"Really?" Petalstar asked, ready to rip Dreamstar to shreds. "W-What did you hear?" She asked.
[Petalstar]
"Yes. I have, actually. Someone in my Clan did. I thought he was my mate but he turned out to be some spy for an enemy, and I heard about someone else, too." Dawnstar meowed.
Briarberry smailed as Petalstar got more angry.
-Briarberry
"That's great Dawnstar!" Wildstar meowed. "Do you think your sister should stay?" She glanced over at Petalstar, then back again.
-Wildstar
Petalstar's eyes shown new anger that Wildstar hadn't seen before.
"Petalstar? Are you okay?" she asked cautiously.
-Wildstar
"I do. I'm glad to say most of my Clan does... so far. Um.. so far only one cat said no." Dawnstar meowed.
(GTG BYYE!!!)
"No!" Briarberry snapped again
"Right?" she asked.

"Fine." She said. "What did you hear about anyone breaking the warrior code?" She asked tensely.
[Petalstar]
"Well, all I know is that you have rabies, and are ready to tear any cat limb from limb." Wildstar meowed. Then, knew she shouldn't have said anything.

Petalstar relaxed, happy Ripplestar didn't tell anyone for now. "Ok." She said happily.
[Petalstar]
"Not you, that's for sure!" Briarberry growled at Petalstar, annoy that she kept asking everyone. Why did this seem to be the topic everyone lingered on?

Wildstar stared at her in surprise. How did Petalstar change her mood so quickly?

"Not like she has a secret or anything..." Darkshadow muttered to Strikewind, not caring if anyone else heard.

"Petalstar, I am sure there is something your not telling us. I can tell." Wildstar meowed, twitching her tail.

(oh great lolz) Onyxclaw walked over to Petalstar. "You okay?" He asked forcing emotion from his voice.

Petalstar nodded, trying to not say anything that would give her and Onyxclaw away. "Fine." She whispered. Darkshadow had to physically bite her tongue to keep all of these secrets inside.

"Clan leaders don't have to say everything" she retorted, knowing she was keeping secrets of her own.

"Why would you be defending them, Briarberry?" Wildstar retorted.
"Is there something your keeping hidden inside too?"

Onyxclaw looked at the crowd. ' What gives them a right to be in Pineclan's secrets? ' He lashed his tail eyes narrowed.

Petalstar glared at Raystar.
"No!" she meowed a little too quickly. "It doesn't matter." she said, looking away.

Wildstar continued to stare at Briarberry for a moment, knowing that something was up.
"Alright then." And she turned away.

(Really? Her and Onyxclaw, PineClan's med cats are mates. Their kit is Faithkit.)

Briarberry nodded, relieved.
-Briarberry
Onyxclaw looked at Petalstar. "They'll find out soon." He muttered, sadness glazing his eyes. Even whispering seemed to loud for such a secret.

"Onyxclaw, you can sit down now," Petalstar muttered, wondering how the heck her secret was still a secret. She cursed in her mind at not being able to hide the love in her eyes.

Briarberry sighed.
Maybe she was better now. All the leaders had probles, and Briarberry relized she wasn't the least sane of them all.

Onyxclaw took in a breath and held it. ' Why can't I leave her? Is my love for her really so deep? ' He tried to make his paws move, but it seemed they were rooted to the spot. Letting out his breath he desperatly tried to walk away. When he got his footing he leaped away and sat with the rest of the cats, dragging his gaze away from his love.

Wildstar stared at Petalstar as she addressed Onyxclaw. Was there a hint of affection in her eyes? No, there couldn't be! Wildstar shook the thought from her head.

"Look at that." Darkshadow muttered to Shadowsoul and Strikewind. "They're both about to explode." And it was true.
[Darkshadow]

Wildstar continued to watch Petalstar, anxiety grew inside her as Petalstar continued to get more and more angered.

Petalstar glared at Raystar again. 'That mouse brain doesn't even know what he did.' She thought, thinking of Faithkit at home and how she wouldn't be able to see her. Darkshadow was happily waiting for her mother to snap.

Thunderspirit nudges Ravenfeather. "What are Swiftstar's kits look like? Why isn't she here?" he whispers.

"Anything else, or we going to just stand here?" Briarberry snapped.

Raystar was aware of hostile eyes on him. He glanced to the side to see Petalstar glaring at him. He quickly looked away. ' What did I do? ' He thought guiltily.

'How can he not tell?' Petalstar thought, thinking of how easy it would be to kill him right there. She held back.
[Petalstar]
"Another thing I would like to announce," Wildstar meowed. "Is my three kits, Mossleaf, Birchstone, and Foxclaw have become proud warriors of my clan. Unfortunately, they were not able to attend tonight's Gathering." All the cats cheered for the new warriors anyway.
-Wildstar
Ravenfeather blinked. "She couldn't come because she lost a lot of blood." he whispered.
"Faytekit is black with blue eyes, Frostkit is prue white, Willowkit is a tortioseshell, and breezekit is a dark grey tabby tom." he added.

Wildstar noticed that Petalstar had started to fidget and shake.
"Petalstar? Are you okay? You look a little diseased or something."
-Wildstar
Petalstar felt like she should at least try to blend in here. "My daughter, Darkshadow, became a warrior also." She said, realizing for the first time that Darkshadow's siblings would have become warriors too. Darkshadow smiled and unsheathed her claws.
[Petal/Dark]
"I am diseased!" Petalstar said, looking at Raystar instead. Darkshadow's eyes grew wide. She really was going to attack.
[Petal/Dark]
"That's great!" Wildstar meowed in approval. Still a little unsure about Petalstar.

He let out a sigh of relief and thought about his kits.

"Oh, and we smelled Brokenclan warriors on our territory, and past that. Hopefully they won't come onto yours." Briarberry added.

Wildstar backed away as Petalstar started to come towards her. She would fight her if she had to.
"Petalstar, I suggest you sit down." she meowed as her hind paw felt empty air, she was almost going to fall off of this rock!

"Congratulations, Petalstar. My kits became apprentices, SKypaw, Rainpaw, and Ashpaw..." Dawnstar murmured.
Raystar tensed, unsheathing his claws. ' Great, was this whole gathering a good idea for Cottonclan? ' He glanced at Petalstar uncomfortably.

Onyxclaw watched Petalstar carefully. ' Please don't attack.' He thought with worry. Onyxclaw unsheathed his claws, ready to leap up there and stop her.

Rockstorm looked at Petalstar with worry. He knew couldn't get there in time to help her, so all he could do was watch.

"Yes. Our deputy, Snowfeather, ecently went missing (it's Glow, what else wuz I supposed to do), and I've been looking. Thank you for the warning, Briarberry." Dawnstar meowed.
Briarberry smiled, noticing Petalstar might leap on anyone of them at any moment now......

Wildstar watched in horror as Petalstar got closer and closer to Raystar with a deranged look in her eyes.
"Congratulations by the way Dawnstar! I bet they will make great warriors."

Wildstar stared at Briarberry.
"Why are you smiling? Don't you know you could be killed if she attacks?"
-Wildstar
Briarberry nodded to Dawnstar.

"Er... yes." Dawnstar meowed, watching Petalstar intently.

Petalstar caught Onyxclaw's pleading glance. "Fine." She muttered, sitting down on the rock.

Ravenfeather twitched his ears nervously, trying to think of what his sister was thinking up there.
"Yeah, just a little weak....." he said, not noticing he was telling a warrior from a different clan.

"I'm right here..." Petalstar muttered, not liking how they were talking about her as if she wasn't there.

Wildstar let her fur lie flat when Petalstar sat back down.

Onyxclaw tried to hold himself back, but he couldn't. "Petalstar!" He raced to her jumping between Raystar and his mate. "Look maybe Pineclan should go...You aren't looking so good." He muttered to her glancing around daring someone to challenge him.

"Onyxclaw is from PineClan." Petalstar said. She turned to Onyxclaw. "If we leave now, they'll think we're weak." She whispered. She thought about it for a moment. "A little late for that now." She smiled.

Dawnstar looked down at her kits, hoping they were okay. Skypaw had her tail twined with Blazepaw, and Ashpaw and Rainpaw were sitting witha group of BreezeClan, BriarClan, StreamClan, and pINEcLAN APPRENTICES.

"Theres just something about how he is always by Petalstar, it's like they are close personal friends or something." Wildstar knew she shouldn't have said that.

Dawnstar looked at the moon start to fall. "I think SorrelClan might leave soon. I know a cat who will go crazy because she's in the camp with my sister... I don't know why. She thinks my sister is a flea-bitten rogue, and her kits are fox-dung." Dawnstar spat talking about Dovesong, even though Dovesong was related to Ivydapple, Heatherkit, and Lilykit.
"Wow" she meowed to the argueing cats.
"Just, wow" she siad, astonished.

Onyxclaw let out a sigh. ' Whats the point of keeping this secret. I love her, is that a crime. How could starclan be so cold hearted as to keep me away from the one I love... ' He thought holding back tears as bitter thoughts raced through his head.

Skypaw looked at Tigerpaw. She looked at Blazepaw, and licked his shoulder. "Whatever. I like him, and he likes me. If you think I'm moony over him, that's your problem, not mine." Skypaw growled. She purred, and walked away to talk with a fluffy, young apprentice.
"Okay, everyone ready?" Darkshadow was smiling. Petalstar leaped down the Great Pine and walked over to Darkshadow.

Onyxclaw gave Darkshadow a astonished stare. ' She wouldn't, this could distroy us! ' He took a step forward, his green eyes blazing. ' I want this secret out. I want others to know how proud I am of my daughter. And I want to be able to love Petalstar. But if that means distroying Petalstar's life, I'll give up all of that. '

Lilypaw walked over to Stormpaw, ignoring Rosepaw. "Hi! My name is Lilypaw, I'm Brownspots apprentice. From BriarClan." Lilypaw meowed. "DOn't mind the cream tabby she-cat staring at us, that's Rosepaw from LakeClan. She's annoying, and in love with the other medicine cat apprentice, Nestpaw." Lilypaw meowed. She rolled her eyes and glared at Rosepaw.

Dawnstar looked at Darkshadow. Her eyes widened.
"Darkshadow. Listen. I'll give you anything you want. Don't do this." She hissed, not caring that everyone saw her talking to her own DAUGHTER this way.

Briarberry didn't dare nodd at darkshadow, but her eyes were gleanming with excitement.

"I said is EVERYBODY ready?" Darkshadow asked, knowing she probably wasn't going to say anything. She wanted to see what Petalstar would do.

Onyxclaw stalked over to Darkshadow. "What is wrong with you? You call youself a loyal warrior of Pineclan? You will NEVER be a good warrior and you will NEVER be a good daughter. Petalstar loves you and yet all you do is hurt her. You should be ashamed. I don't even know how you show your face. That even shows that you'll never amount to anything." He hissed clawing the ground.

Darkshadow was cut off immediately as Petalstar scratched her throat. She was bleeding. "I'll fix you later." She hissed. She leaped up the Great Rock. "Now, where were we?" She asked.

Briarberry looked at Petalstar, flattening her ears, but staying in her place. She hissed through clenched teeth.

He pawed at the ground and lashed his tail, hitting Ravenfeather by mistake.

"Bye, Wildstar! See you next Gathering!" Petalstar said.
"Sorry," he mumbled, remembering this was Swiftstar's son.
Onyxclaw stared at the bleeding body of Darkshadow. ' What do I do? I could stick up for my mate, or help her kit? ' He closed his eyes, then looked at Darkshadow. "I couldn't help you, no matter how hard I tried." He muttered then turned sitting close to Petalstar under the Great Stone.

Rosepaw's eyes widened. She rushed over to Darkshadow. "Hmmm...." Rosepaw thought. SHe rushed to a crack in the rock and got some cobwebs and moss. She pressed it down to Darkshadow's wound. She looked at Stormpaw. "HELP ME!!" Rosepaw hissed.
He stepped forward declaring, "No one shall hurt ANYONE, whether or not that's a leader." He narrowed his eyes at Petalstar.

"So you will kill your OWN DAUGHTER at a gathering and let it slide!?" he said anger swelling.

Onyxclaw lunged in front of Briarberry. "Mind yourself..." He growled arching his back, fur bristling.

"You watch your mouth! And your choice of mates, TWIT! And I'm not a kit! I'm almost 12 moons old!" Lilypaw spat at Onyxclaw. "ACtually, never mind. I don't care if you have a bad mate, because you deserve it!"Lilypaw hissed.
He sat down thinking it was bad. As bad as Swiftstar's newborn kits being his.
"Don't yell at Lilypaw!" Briarberry snarled at Onyxclaw.

Rosepaw worked hard to save Darkshadow, hoping she would breathe again.
